It’s time to move
from “just coping” to
truly thriving.
The hard stuff doesn’t get the final say. YOU do.
Sound Familiar?
You wake up already tired, and your mind is racing before you even step out of bed. No matter how much you push yourself, it feels like you’re always behind, behind on school, behind on work, behind on being the parent, partner, or friend you want to be.
At night, the quiet isn’t peaceful. That’s when the hard stuff shows up: the old memories that won’t stay buried, the guilt that won’t let go, the what-ifs that won’t stop circling. You lie there staring at the ceiling, wishing your brain had an “off” switch.
During the day, you put on the face everyone expects. You go to class, clock in at work, take care of the kids, or just try to get through. From the outside, you look “fine.” But inside, it feels like you’re unraveling,
It’s the weight of trying to be strong when you’re falling apart. The exhaustion of carrying a disability or health struggle no one else fully understands. The ache of trying to figure out where you fit, in your family, in your friend group, in your identity. It’s the pressure of being a kid or teen in a world that never slows down, or the stress of being an adult who feels like they should have it “together” by now.
And through it all, the same thought creeps in: “Why does everyone else seem to handle life better than me?”
If this sounds like your reality, you’re not alone. You’re not broken. You don’t need to be “fixed.” What you need is a place where you can drop the act, be honest about how heavy it all feels, and finally start finding some relief. That’s the space I offer in counseling, real, human, and judgment-free.
Hi! My name is Lyndsy
Supervised by Dwyane Frei, LPC-S
I know how heavy life can get. Anxiety that steals your sleep, trauma that shows up out of nowhere, big changes that leave you feeling lost, or just trying to survive in a world that doesn’t always make room for you. I’ve lived through my own hard seasons, and with my background in rehabilitation counseling, I bring both personal and professional experience to this work. My job isn’t to tell you to “just get over it.” It’s to remind you that you’re not broken, you’re not weak, and you don’t have to carry all of this by yourself, because none of us can.
It feels like the waves never stop, doesn’t it? You just want to find solid ground again.
I work with children (5+), teens, and adults to build resilience, manage emotions, and create lasting change
Most of the people who find me are children (5+), teens, and adults looking for support with anxiety, stress, depression, or the daily challenges of living with a disability or chronic illness. Many also come to counseling feeling overwhelmed by school demands, academic transitions, or the pressure of big life changes.
Others are carrying the weight of trauma, grieving the loss of a parent or loved one, or moving through identity shifts that leave them feeling lost or unsteady. These seasons can feel like navigating rough waters, and my role as a therapist is to provide a safe harbor where you can find support, healing, resilience, and hope.
I have a soft spot for people carrying heavy stuff in a world that doesn’t always make space for it, including those who…
Live with a disability or chronic illness and feel worn out from fighting to be understood
Are holding onto trauma that still shows up in their body and their relationships
Are grieving hard - a parent, a loved one, or the future they thought they’d have
Feel buried under school stress, pressure, or big life transitions
Are children or teens navigating big feelings, identity, or tough changes at home or school
Are trying to figure out who they are now when everything feels upside down
I’m drawn to the raw moments:
where trauma leaves its mark, where school and life pressures pile up, where loss and change stir questions of who we are.
Therapy That Meets You Where You Are
You don’t have to show up with everything figured out. This is a space where you can be honest, messy, or quiet if that’s what you need. We’ll go at your pace and focus on what actually feels helpful for you. Some days it might feel heavy, other days lighter, but it’s all part of the process. My job isn’t to fix you, it’s to remind you that you’re not broken, to help you see your own strength, and to walk alongside you as you figure out what’s next.
